On the 2nd anniversary of the Dobbs v. Jackson decision, we’re calling for a Nationwide Strike for Abortion Rights.
THESE ARE OUR DEMANDS.

We’re calling on the Supreme Court to listen to young people and the majority of this country and NOT further restrict abortion access.

We’re calling on Biden to certify and publish the ERA, once and for all.

We’re calling on our schools to expand access by offering medication abortion on our campuses.
The anti-democratic Supreme Court rejected the will of the majority by gutting Roe in their Dobbs decision.
After losing abortion access on his watch, Biden continues to fail us by stalling action on the ERA.
Weak and vague promises to codify Roe will not get us back rights, and it certainly will not win our vote. We need action NOW.
ARIZONA’S supreme court just took their abortion rights back to 1864.
We need the Equal Rights Amendment to protect abortion, nationwide. We need to show solidarity with AZ youth who are fighting for restoration of their abortion rights and permanent, constitutional protections to ensure reproductive freedoms.

SINCE DOBBS,
millions of Americans have seen their fundamental rights stolen for the first time in their lifetimes. From extreme abortion bans to unjust criminalization of abortion seekers, it is just the beginning. On March 26th, the Supreme Court heard FDA v. Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine–a challenge to the abortion medication Mifepristone. On April 24th, the Supreme Court will hear another case, Idaho v. United States, which challenges the ability for doctors to perform abortions when the pregnant person’s life is at risk.
The Supreme Court has made it clear: the overturning of Roe v. Wade was just the beginning.
On June 24th, 2022, the Supreme Court made their agenda clear when the Dobbs v. Jackson decision was released. Since then, President Biden has done little to defend abortion. Biden claims he can do no more, but we know that’s not true. Our self-proclaimed “reproductive rights” champion has refused to publish the Equal Rights Amendment–the comprehensive, permanent tool we need to fight back. State-level ERAs have already BLOCKED abortion bans in Iowa and Utah. Two weeks ago, Nevada's ERA blocked a ban on using Medicaid funds for abortion. In January, Pennsylvania's did the same.
We know that the ERA is the solution to the abortion crisis, and were fighting to finalize the federal ERA so that all people across the country can have their fundamental rights constitutionally secured.
As Biden continues to disregard our rights, it is more crucial than ever that young people come together and demand action to protect our fundamental freedoms.

College and high school students nationwide are mobilizing for a mass walkout scheduled for June 24, the second anniversary of the Dobbs v. Jackson decision. This protest will encompass a range of multimedia activities either days leading up to the protest or during, including teach-ins, art creation, and rallying. The Young Feminist Party will work to support all organizers in preparing for and carrying out actions in their communities.
